Crystal Bay Township completed a community trail planning process in June of 2008. Friends of the Finland Community procured a grant on behalf of the Township from Arrowhead Regional Development Commission to complete this planning.

A committee of interested community members and regional area trail and transportation representatives was formed and met monthly with ARDC’s facilitator, Ben Van Tassell. The result is our community trails plan. In addition to the Trails Plan, vital relationships and partnerships were created and enhanced by the planning process. Friends of the Finland Community is pleased to have assisted the Township and community to help create the Trails Plan.
